Ethan was born on October 27, 2001, in Mayfield, Kentucky. From a young age, he demonstrated an exceptional ability to connect with people and brighten any room with his presence. Ethan graduated from St. Mary High School in 2020, where he not only excelled academically but also became a well-respected figure among his peers. His natural curiosity and love for science led him to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Kentucky, where he was deeply committed to his studies and aspired to use his education to make a positive impact in the world.
Ethan’s personality was one of the qualities that made him unforgettable. Known for his genuine warmth, he had an innate ability to make others feel valued and loved. His friends and family describe him as someone who would go out of his way to lend a hand or offer a comforting word, often brightening the lives of those around him with his smile and sense of humor. Whether through cracking jokes, offering advice, or simply lending an ear, Ethan’s presence was a constant source of joy for his community.

A Funeral Mass will be held on May 12, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield, where friends and family will gather to celebrate Ethan’s life. Pallbearers for the service include several of his close friends and Beta Theta Pi fraternity brothers, and in lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the St. Mary School System and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ethan’s memory.
Although Ethan’s life was tragically cut short, his legacy of kindness, joy, and selflessness will continue to inspire everyone who knew him.
