Amy Meuse Haverhill MA Death and Obituary – Amy Elizabeth Meuse, age 37, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away on May 7th, 2025, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and exceptional talent. Born in Boston and raised in Saugus, Amy was a cherished daughter, wife, sister, and friend, known for her infectious spirit, her remarkable abilities, and her deep dedication to her community.
From a young age, Amy exhibited a passion for both sports and music, traits that would shape much of her life. She was an outstanding student-athlete at Saugus High School, excelling in soccer and the marching band, where she showcased her talent as a gifted trumpet player. Her dynamic personality and competitive nature were evident in everything she did, whether it was on the field or in the band room. These early experiences cultivated the strong work ethic and sense of camaraderie that she would carry into adulthood.
Amy’s love for soccer continued throughout her academic career, including her time at Endicott College, where she balanced her athletic passion with a strong commitment to academics. Amy earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration in 2011, a testament to her desire to support and uplift others through sports. This passion for athletics would play a pivotal role in her personal life as well, as it was through her love of sports that she met her wife, Heather (Dujsik) Manning-Meuse. Amy and Heather shared a loving marriage for six years, filled with shared dreams, laughter, and unbreakable companionship.
Professionally, Amy was a legal assistant at Doherty, Cella & Keane, LLP, where her diligence, humor, and compassion earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. However, her role at Brooksby Village Senior Living is perhaps where she made the most profound impact. Over the course of nearly two decades, Amy built meaningful relationships with residents, serving them with kindness, humor, and an ever-present smile. Whether she was organizing events, such as a surprise anniversary party for her parents, or simply offering a listening ear to someone in need, Amy found joy in brightening the lives of others.
Amy’s generosity of spirit extended beyond her professional life to her personal relationships. She shared a special and loving bond with her stepdaughters, Allison and Rebecca Manning, who were an integral part of her world. Amy’s close-knit family also included her parents, Joseph and Jeanne (Leary) Meuse, and her brothers, Scotty and Joey Meuse, along with her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Meuse. Amy’s memory will also be cherished by her mother-in-law, Rosemary Dujsik, and the many friends whose lives she touched.
Amy’s passing is deeply mourned by all who knew her, and she is predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Francis “Skip” Leary, Eileen Leary, F. Harold Meuse, and Elizabeth “Betty” Meuse, as well as her uncle David Leary and cousin David Leary, whose memories she held close to her heart.
In her honor, donations may be made to the Saugus Youth Soccer Association, a cause that was dear to Amy. Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to attend visiting hours at Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home in Saugus on Tuesday, May 13th, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 14th, at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:30 a.m., with interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
